Worldwide air cargo demand and pricing has remained strong throughout August. Tonnages were up 10% and rates up 12% over the same month last year, according to WorldACD market data. Compared to the previous month, total flown chargeable weight dipped slightly by 2%, while average yields were up marginally by 1% to $2.49 per kilo.
