WestJet in “significant” expansion of summer schedules

WestJet is to significantly increase its summer schedule to nearly 600 departures a day during peak times. Cities such as Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Regina are to get 40% more capacity than what was on offer in summer 2022, while Edmonton is get 11 flights a week to and from Los Vegas and seven to Los Angeles, up from four in each case in 2022. “Providing our guests with even more opportunity to travel across our network this summer comes as a result of a thoughtfully designed schedule that balances the high demand for travel alongside a reliable and resilient operation,”
