Uganda Airlines is set to launch direct flights between Uganda’s Entebbe and London by the end of this year. The airline has already secured slots at Heathrow Airport following its CEO Jenifer Bamuturaki meeting with UK aviation authorities in preparation for the launch. The new route was facilitated by the airline’s acquisition of two A330neo aircraft in 2020 and 2021. The Uganda High Commission office of London said the route will boost bilateral trade and tourism between Uganda and the UK.
