Thai Airways is all set to relaunch its key Chinese routes to Beijing and Shanghai, after a three-year pandemic induced hiatus. The Chinese market is one of the most important sources of income for Thai Airways with Chinese visitors making up for the largest inbound traffic in Thailand since the pandemic. The airline will resume its Bangkok to Beijing thrice weekly and Bangkok to Shanghai four weekly flights from March 2023. The pre-pandemic capacity was double daily.
