Spirit Airlines has increased its check bag weight allowance to 50 pounds, bringing it up from 40 pounds and aligning it with the US legacy carriers’ baggage allowance. In addition, it has extended future travel vouchers expiration to 12 months for vouchers issues on or after June 3, 2024.
