With Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) looking to sell, Turkish low-cost airline Pegasus Airlines is bidding for the airline in collaboration with the Lucky Group. In collaboration with Lucky Group’s YB Holdings, Pegasus was among six pre-qualified companies looking to bid for the airline. According to Pakistan ministry of finance, chairman of Pegasus Mehmat Nane, accompanied by Lucky Group CEO Muhammad Ali Tabba, met with the Pakistan federal minister for finance and revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb on August 23, 2024.
