Lufthansa Group, Ryanair extends cancellations in Middle East as tensions escalate

Lufthansa Group and Ryanair have adjusted their services to the Middle East again as tensions in the region continue to escalate. Lufthansa has suspended all of its flights to Tel Aviv until August 26, 2024. Ryanair said it has “been forced to cancel” flights to and from the Israel city until September 30, 2024, due to “operational restrictions” beyond its control. In addition, Lufthansa has cancelled all flights to Amman, Beirut, Erbil, and Teheran until August 26, 2024.
