Lufthansa Group back to black

Lufthansa Group has reported an operating profit of €393 million and adjusted free cash flow of €2.1bn in the second quarter 2022. Net income increased significantly to €259 million compared to the net loss of €756 million in the prior year period. The company turned over €8.5 billion in the second quarter, almost three times as much as in the same period last year. The airline group noted a strong increase in average yields and successful cargo segment drive was responsible for the positive quarterly result.
