Airports and airline across the globe are reporting disruptions as a third party software outage is impacting computer systems worldwide on July 19, 2024. The software is reported to be linked to CrowdStrike – a cybersecurity software firm. The IT firm’s shares fell nearly 20% in pre-market trading. Airline Economics has contacted the company for confirmation and comment.
