Finnair is set to resume flights to the Chinese city of Guangzhou after an absence of over two years. The Finnish flag carrier will relaunch services with a direct weekly flight from Helsinki on September 6, as it continues to rebuild its long-haul Asian network. Ole Orvér, Finnair Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We are excited to return to Guangzhou and look forward to gradually increasing our offering for the Chinese market.” The new service will utilise Finnair’s A350 aircraft with departures from Helsinki on Tuesdays and departures from Guangzhou on Thursdays.
