Finnair passengers up nearly 10% in June

Finnair’s passenger numbers were up 9.4% in June 2024, compared to the year prior. Its North Atlantic, European, and Asian passenger numbers were up 16.1%, 12%, and 6.1% respectively. However, its Middle East traffic was down 8.8%. Geopolitical tensions in the Middle East have continued through the year. Additionally, its domestic traffic was flat at a slight decrease of 0.7%.
