Emirates touched down in Antananarivo, Madagascar on September 4, 2024. It marks the first time for the airline as well as its fifth destination in the Indian Ocean. “As the Malagasy government continues to grow its tourism industry with the aim to attract one million tourists by 2028, we proudly support this vision by enhancing connectivity and premium travel options to encourage more international travellers to discover the island,” said Adnan Kazim, deputy president and chief commercial officer at Emirates. The flight will operate four times a week to and from Madagascar on its 777-300ER.
