EL AL opts for Boeing narrowbody order

El Al Israel Airlines has decided to continue its long relationship with Boeing and has declared that it has entered into exclusive negotiations with the US airframe manufacturer and with lessors for the purchase and lease of up to 30 737 MAX aircraft. The aircraft will replace the airline’s existing 737 fleet with deliveries beginning from 2027 and continuing for several years.
