China Southern Airlines has agreed to a codeshare deal with Qatar Airways, which is subject to government approval set to come into effect on 15 January 2020. The codeshare agreement marks the first step to strengthen the cooperation between the two airlines with the agreement set to further improve China Southern’s network in the Middle East market. Moreover, this agreement will enable China Southern passengers to book the flights on Qatar Airways between Doha and Guangzhou/Beijing and further connect to more than 80 destinations in the Middle East, Europe and Africa.
