Cathay Pacific has grounded its A350 fleet following an engine component failure. It is speculated to be related to the fuel nozzle. It has identified 15 aircraft with affected components – three of which have been repaired, the airline said on September 3, 2024. The remaining aircraft will continue to be out of service until repaired. “We expect that all affected aircraft will resume operations by Saturday (7 September),” Cathay said in a statement.
