Boeing has issued Alaska Air Group with $61 million in supplier credit memos to address the financial damages the airline suffered as a consequence of Flight 1282 in January. Alaska Air Group can use the credit memos on future purchases with Boeing. In its first quarter results, Alaska had revealed it had been “significantly impacted” by the Flight 1282 incident and the subsequent US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) investigation launch and the grounding of 737-9 aircraft. It claimed its results had been negatively impacted by $162 million; $150 million of which correlated to lost revenue and the remaining $12 million
