Allegiant reports August 2024 traffic, updates third quarter guidance

Allegiant carried 1.33 million scheduled passengers in August 2024, somewhat flat from the same month last year at a positive 1.3%. Scheduled service revenue passenger miles (RPM) was flat at a 0.8%. Capacity was up 2.7%, while load factor was down 1.5 percentage point to 84.5%. Total system passengers was up 1.8% to 1.3 million. Capacity was up 3%.
