Air India begins narrowbody refit, widebody retrofit to begin early next year

Air India has commenced its over $400 million refit programme for 67 legacy aircraft in its fleet. The retrofit programme will begin with its 27 narrowbody A320neo aircraft. The first narrowbody aircraft to commence the programme is expected to re-enter commercial service in December this year.
