Air China passengers surge in June

Air China carried 12.5 million passengers in June, climbing 13.5% over the same period last year. Domestically, its passengers climbed 5.9% to 10.8 million, while its international passenger numbers more than doubled to 1.4 million passengers in the month. Its regional passenger numbers were up 45.2% over last year’s June period to nearly 400,000. Passenger load factor jumped 7.3 percentage points, reaching 80% in the month.
