Two ground crews at Budapest airport to “join forces”

Airport Service Budapest (AS Budapest) and Menzies Aviation will join forces as one company, providing ground handling, cargo and lounge services at Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport. The transaction is to be authorised by the Competition Authority. With this agreement, AS Budapest will acquire ownership in Menzies Aviation Hungary, including the transfer of contracts and assets of AS Budapest to Menzies, who intends to employ AS Budapest’s highly experienced employees.
