Airbus forecast its its fleet in service to increase to 48,230 by the end of 2043, nearly doubling from its 24,260 aircraft in service at the end of 2023. The European aircraft manufacturer anticipates deliveries of 42,430 new planes, comprising of 41,490 commercial aircraft.
