On February 12, the US Air Force downed what it said was an unidentified “object” flying at around 20,000 feet above Lake Huron, saying it could have interfered with commercial flights. “I will let the intel community and the counterintelligence community figure that out,” said General Glen Van Herck, when asked what the object was.
