Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority (MCCAA) has approved easyJet’s acquisition of SR Technics Malta on May 13, 2024, after it was notified on April 18, 2024. SR Technics Malta Limited is a maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service provider that is primarily active in the provision of heavy maintenance services of commercial passenger aircraft from its premises in Malta, within Malta International Airport. Its MRO service portfolio is mostly focused on the maintenance of the A320 family aircraft. The acquisition will complement easyJet’s fleet of 336 A320 family aircraft.
