Alaska Airlines is offering free Wi-fi access on services between Fairbanks and Anchorage. The service, provided by Aircell, will only be free of charge until the network includes southeast Alaska later in 2010.
More than 70% of Alaska’s 737 aircraft are fitted with “Gogo” wi-fi system, which is expected to be rolled out to the entire fleet by early next year.
