WestJet has received three Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft from CDB Aviation, an Irish subsidiary of China Development Bank Financial Leasing.
“The relationship enables WestJet to continue our momentum driving our growth strategy,” said WestJet SVP treasurer Jennifer Blue.
“To date, we have financed and leased a total of 13 737-8 aircraft which support this strong and growing Canadian airline,” said CDB Aviation head of commercial for the Americas Luis da Silva.
The aircraft are part of the airline's ongoing fleet expansion.
