Virgin Atlantic launches daily London–Seoul service

Virgin Atlantic has launched a new daily direct service between London Heathrow Airport and Incheon International Airport, marking its entry into the South Korean market.

The route, operated by a Boeing 787-9, makes the airline the only British carrier flying direct between the UK and South Korea. The service is part of Virgin Atlantic’s broader expansion in Asia-Pacific and is expected to support both passenger demand and cargo flows between the two markets.

The airline said the new service will also offer onward connectivity across the region through its partnership with Korean Air and other SkyTeam members, linking travellers to destinations across Japan, Southeast Asia and Australasia.
