Vietnam Airlines has signed a deal for eight 787-9 Dreamliners with Boeing and is in talks to buy a further eight.
Vietnam Airlines President and CEO, Pham Ngoc Minh, confirmed that delivery of the first aircraft will take place in 2015. The airline will also lease three further 787-9. The deal replaces an earlier agreement with Boeing for the purchase of 787-800s.
