Lufthansa paves the way for a better European aviation sector but that is only half the story

It has been reported that VietJet will be seeking to launch its initial public offering (IPO) soon, possibly by the second quarter of this year. Media estimates IPO valuation at around $1bn.
“We plan to make VietJet a global airline,” company CEO Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao told Bloomberg. “We look at Emirates, which came from a country with a small population and has become a global airline. We want to make VietJet the Emirates of Asia.”
