Pilots at TAP have called of two strikes planned for July 5-8 and August 1-5. A working group representing pilots, TAP administration and the government would be set up to resolve the conflict.
Although the strikes have been cancelled, 14,000 tickets have already been cancelled or went unsold, adding to TAP woes.
Air traffic controllers, which were also due to stage a series of partial strikes to protest restructuring at the weekend, have called off their action too.
