Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) has announced it is considering possible deals with a number of international companies to build passenger aircraft.
The Turkish foreign trade minister Zafer Çağlayan and Muharrem Dörtkaşlı TAI general manager, visited Bombardier and Goodrich Aerospace Canada and discussed potential partnerships. Bombardier offered a proposal on a joint initiative for aircraft production while the latter asked TAI if it would be interested in working together on helicopter production.
