SriLankan Airlines adds Ahmedabad as 10th Indian destination

SriLankan Airlines has added Ahmedabad as its 10th Indian destination, the airline said today (February 24).

With this addition, the airline will serve six of India's eight major metropolitan hubs.

This is expected to increase SriLankan's Indian passenger traffic across its network by up to 12% this year.

The route will fly from Colombo to Ahmedabad four times per week as it looks to expand its market presence in India.

According to The Telegraph India, the airline is in talks with Air India to enhance their current codeshare partnership agreement.
