Setna iO has acquired a majority stake in J&C Aero.
The transaction will add J&C Aero's EASA Part 21J design and Part 21G production, part 145 maintenance, and part camo capabilities to Setna's portfolio.
Additionally, the acquisition will support J&C Aero's plans to expand beyond its European home markets, as well as broaden its service capabilities.
"J&C Aero represents a highly complementary addition to our global platform,” said David Chaimovitz, founder and CEO at SETNA. “Their certified design, production, and maintenance capabilities significantly expand our industrial footprint and strengthen our position across the aircraft lifecycle.”
The acquisition is expected to be completed in the second quarter of this year.
Talisman acted as financial advisor to J&C during the transaction and Walless provided legal counsel.
Setna was advised by Averus and Gould & Ratner, while Plante Moran and PwC provided financial and tax diligence.
