Portuguese TAP Airlines has posted a 3.1% increase in profit to €16 million in 2012, up from €3.1 million in 2011.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the airline has posted positive results. TAP carried 4.5% more passengers, some 10.2 million, in 2012.
TAP is still up for sale as part of the Portuguese government‘s privatization programme.
