Following the snow storms in the UK and Europe many airlines have been left with a backlog of luggage to return to their owners. With many flights diverted or cancelled leaving luggage miles from its original destination.
Manchester International airport is believed to be the worst affected with a four-day backlog of bags, although London Heathrow was also badly affected.
British Airways has stated that it is working “around the clock” to return bags to customers free of charge.
