LOT Polish Airlines has confirmed that it has reached a compensation agreement with Boeing for the cost of grounding of its 787s.The size of the compensation package has not been disclosed but LOT has estimated in the past that taking the aircraft out of service cost more than 100 million zloty ($33 million). The airline is quoted in local media as being “satisfied” with the agreement.
