Scottish airline Loganair, the Flybe franchise carrier that flies on 26 routes in the Highlands and Islands, has announced fare increases of 2% from January 1. In response to critics Loganair has stated that the fare rise is below inflation. In a cost cutting drive, the airline has also stopped supplying free alcoholic and soft drinks to passengers.
