Jin Air has begun flying cargo to the United States for the first time using its 777-200ER passenger jet. The flight from Incheon to Los Angeles carried 23 tons of displays and other electronic components in its belly cargo space.
The company said it “plans to deliver more high value-added cargo to the US and Europe using its B777-200ER planes”.
Jin Air has already begun cargo flights using a 777-200ER aircraft from Incheon to Bangkok twice a week after converting the passenger jet into a cargo plane.
