German Airways will expand its fleet with an additional Embraer E190 aircraft for the Summer Schedule 2026, continuing its growth strategy in the European charter and ACMI market.
The aircraft, registered D-ABKE, will be based in Germany, strengthening the carrier’s operational footprint in its home market. German Airways said the E190 has proven to be a reliable and flexible platform for wet-lease, charter and ACMI missions, supporting sustained customer demand for additional capacity.
Managing director Maren Wolters said the fleet addition underlines the airline’s commitment to long-term, sustainable growth, while enhancing operational stability and flexibility through a Germany-based deployment.
