GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) today announced that it has selected CFM International’s LEAP-1A engine to power 60 new Airbus A320neo aircraft. The firm engine order is valued at $1.77 billion U.S. at list price. The airplane order was announced by Airbus earlier today.
