GE Aerospace will commence module repair operations at Seletar Aerospace Park after finishing the expansion of the site.
The new facility was in partnership with JTC and Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB).
The new facility forms part of GE Aerospace's recently announced $300 million investment to expand its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities in Singapore, and will support the growth of dedicated CFM LEAP-1A/1B high-pressure turbine (HPT) module repairs.
The new shop will enhance GE Aerospace's in-region MRO capabilities to support customers across Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
“This expansion at Seletar Aerospace Park underscores our commitment to building in-region MRO capabilities that help reduce turnaround time and enhance connectivity for our customers across APAC and the Middle East,” said GE Aerospace executive director, global component repair network Tim McQueen.
