PT Garuda Indonesia has signed a memorandum of understanding for 11 A330s, which costs $2.2 billion at average list prices.
The aircraft will be used for services to countries including South Korea, Japan and Australia.
Garuda plans to fund the purchase using cash, proceeds from last year’s initial public offering and loans.
