Emirates NBD’s Aviation Desk has concluded a bilateral facility for flydubai to finance two new Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft, propelling the airline’s fleet expansion.
The bank said that this facility reflected it aviation financing expertise while advancing the long-term growth of the UAE aviation sector.
In 2025, flydubai took delivery of 12 new aircraft. Emirates NBD financed two of these deliveries through a direct lending structure, marking the first aircraft financing transaction between the two parties.
