flyadeal has renewed its aircraft production inspection programme (APIP) cooperation with Lufthansa Technik in a new five-year contract.
The agreement was signed at MRO Middle East in Dubai. The deal now covers the airline's new 51 Airbus A320 and 10 A330neo, with an option to cover 10 additional widebodies.
The deliveries of these aircraft are scheduled to begin in 2027.
Under the new contract, Lufthansa Technik will continue to perform its APIP services, which is a modular product that examines the full aircraft production process. This covers everything from first inspection to final assembly and acceptance of the aircraft.
“Lufthansa Technik has supported flyadeal from the very beginning of our operations, and their expertise has been instrumental to our continued growth," said flyadeal CEO Steven Greenway. ”Across all areas of our collaboration, they have delivered solid standards of quality and reliability."
“Saudi Arabia's aviation sector holds exceptional potential, and the new agreement highlights our commitment to supporting the country’s dynamic aviation sector,” said Lufthansa Technik VP corporate sales Europe, Middle East and Africa Kai Roepke.
