Saudi low-cost carrier flyadeal carried 10.7 million passengers in 2025, a 33% increase year on year, outpacing capacity growth of 21%, according to the airline.
The carrier expanded its network by 66% to 159 routes and increased the number of destinations served by 50%, supported by fleet growth to 44 Airbus A320 aircraft and the use of eight wet-leased aircraft during the year.
flyadeal also more than doubled the number of Hajj and Umrah passengers carried on dedicated services to 220,000, reflecting increased demand for religious travel to the Kingdom.
International expansion included the launch of services to Pakistan, marking entry into the South Asia market, and the introduction of scheduled flights to Damascus. Madinah was added as the airline’s fourth operational base.
Operational performance remained strong, with flyadeal ranked the most punctual low-cost airline in the Middle East and North Africa throughout 2025, and achieving global number one on-time performance in June, according to Cirium data.
During the year, flyadeal placed its first widebody order for 10 Airbus A330 aircraft and continued preparations for long-haul low-cost operations planned from 2027.
