LAN CARGO informs that the General Court of the European Union annulled today the EU Commission’s decision on alleged infringement of EU competition rules during the period between 2003 and 2006, fully annulling the fine previously imposed by the Commission. The investigation affected exclusively cargo operations and did not involve the passenger business carriers.
LAN CARGO fully collaborated with the applicable authorities over the years of the investigation. The company would like to reaffirm once again its commitment to strictly comply with the applicable laws of the countries where it operates.
