The newly-merged Caribbean Airlines and Air Jamaica are seeking to form a pan-Caribbean airline conglomerate with Bahamasair and others, according to Will Rogers, Air Jamaica's chief of sales.
The newly-merged company is expected to begin negotiations "in the next three to four months" with Bahamasair and Liat in the Caribbean in the "hope of forming a conglomerate"
Rogers says such a move will make travel much more economical in the region.
