CDB Aviation has delivered a Boeing 737-8 to China Southern Airlines, further strengthening the lessor’s relationship with one of China’s largest carriers.
The delivery, completed in Seattle, follows the placement of two Airbus A321neo aircraft with the airline in August 2025, bringing the total number of aircraft on long-term lease from CDB Aviation to China Southern to three.
The addition of the latest-generation narrowbody aircraft is expected to support China Southern’s network expansion and operational efficiency across key markets.
CDB Aviation, the Irish-based leasing arm of China Development Bank Financial Leasing, said the transaction reflects its continued focus on providing financing solutions to airlines in the Greater China region.
