Bangkok Airways has finalized options with Avions de Transport Régional (ATR) for three ATR72-600s valued at approximately $24.6million each. The order stems from options included in a deal unveiled earlier this year at the Singapore Airshow, comprising six firm ATR 72-600s and two options, plus one additional aircraft.
The acquisition brings the total number of ATR72-600s the Thai carrier has on order to nine, the first of which is scheduled for delivery in Q4 2014, while the last aircraft is expected by Q1 2017.
