Avmax acquires Condor Aircraft Accessories to expand component MRO capabilities

Canadian aviation services group Avmax has completed the acquisition of Condor Aircraft Accessories, strengthening its aircraft component maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) operations.

The transaction brings Condor’s component repair and management expertise into Avmax’s Integrated Components division, expanding in-house capabilities across a wider range of aircraft components and platforms. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Under the deal, Condor’s Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) will be aligned with Avmax’s existing component shop as a dedicated division within the group. Avmax said day-to-day operations and customer points of contact will remain unchanged.

Avmax said the acquisition will enhance technical depth and capacity across its component support network while improving operational efficiency. Condor’s component repair experience complements Avmax’s broader activities in MRO, aircraft leasing and lifecycle management.

The combined businesses bring together more than 85 years of aviation experience and are expected to support expanded component services for customers in Canada and internationally.
