In a report by Bloomberg, Heizo Takenaka, an expert member of the Growth Strategy Council newly established by the Yoshihide Suga administration and an emeritus professor at Keio University, has suggested that preparations should be made for the implementation of public support for the aviation industry. He also said that the industry should consider a bold reorganisation of the aviation market, which should include the merger of ANA and Japan Airlines.
